Who gets seats, in order

When there are more askers than seats, this is the order. It is not a suggestion, it is how the office decides.

Friends and family open 24 hours out. Any seat still unclaimed the day before goes to whoever wants it. We would rather a seat be used by someone's brother-in-law than sit empty with our name on it.

Manners

  1. You are AMH while you are in that seat. Our name is on the suite. Anyone you bring is your responsibility for the night.
  2. If you cannot go, say so early. Release the seat as soon as you know. A seat returned two days out gets used. One returned at tip-off does not.
  3. Do not ask for more than you will use. Padding the count so you have spares is how other people end up watching on TV.
  4. Customers come first, and that includes the good seats. If a client is in the suite, give them the front row.
  5. Drink like you are at work, because you are. You are hosting on the company's behalf.
  6. Say thank you. Josh pays for these. A note after the fact goes a long way.
  7. Tickets are not currency. Do not sell them, do not trade them, do not hand them to someone the office has not heard of.
The one that gets people in trouble: no-showing without telling anyone. If you take a seat and do not use it, expect to be behind the next person in line.

How a request moves

  1. You ask. Pick the event, say who the seats are for and how many.
  2. The office decides. Josh or Jackie approve or decline. You get the answer here under My requests.
  3. Approved means the seat is yours. Details come from the office before the date.
  4. Twenty-four hours out, whatever is left opens to friends and family.
